This :30 second commercial was nominated for a 2011 Addy for Public Service.

I Produced and Directed the commercial campaign to help bring public awareness to Autism. My crew and I brought 5 families together in the studio. Even though we invited them into our world, in reality they brought us into theirs.

I always carry a small HD video camera with me, and happened to have it in the studio in my backpack. I pulled it out, and did double duty: directing the commercial, and shooting behind-the-scenes video.

During post-production, I turned the video from my camera black and white, and used it to help contrast two worlds.
